Bachelor of Physiotherapy in Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences
Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences is the first institution established in India for providing education for allied health professionals. It was established by Manipal University in the year 1999. Health Professions Council (HPC), UK has given affiliation to this Institution. It is the largest allied health college located in India. Bachelor of Physiotherapy is one of the undergraduate courses offered in this institute. This course has got accreditation from Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP).
Structure of the Bachelor of Physiotherapy program
Bachelor of Physiotherapy course is a four year course with internship for six months. Structure of the four year course is given below
First year

Fourth year

There will be clinical postings for the students during the third year and fourth year. It will be on daily basis during afternoon. Separate hours will be specified for theory and practical.
Eligibility
Candidates who are applying for Bachelor of Physiotherapy course in Manipal College of Allied Health Sciences should possess Indian citizenship. They should pass plus two or its equivalent with the subjects Physics, English, Chemistry and Biology. They should possess minimum forty five percent marks while taking together the marks of Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The intake of general candidates is based on the marks obtained Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their qualifying examination. A merit list will be published on the basis of these marks. If two candidates possess equal marks in the merit list, then the total marks obtained in the qualifying examination will be considered along with the marks obtained in English. Foreign or NRI candidates will be given direct admission through Foreign/NRI quota. They can apply for the concerned course through application forms or e-mail.
