Physiotherapy is a branch of Biology which deals with the treatment of disease and injury by massage and exercise. The subject has grown into a major field of study. A student of Physiotherapy can now get a job in any of the government or private hospitals as all the major government, private or corporate hospital has its owns Physiotherapy cell.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy, one must pass their higher secondary school certificate examination from a recognized board. The subjects studied by the student in their higher secondary must include physics, chemistry, and biology. For doing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, the student must secure a minimum of 55%.
Course Outlook
The Bachelor of physiotherapy is a 4 year full time course with an extra 6 months of internship. The subjects taught in the Bachelor of Physiotherapy includes Human Anatomy, Human Physiology, Pathology, Clinical Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, Kinesiology, Sports medicine, Rehabilitation medicine etc.

There is a wide range of job opportunity for a Physiotherapist. A Bachelor of Physiotherapy student can work in both government as well as private hospitals in the Physiotherapy department. One can even start his own Physiotherapy clinic.
