B.G.S. College of Education was established by the Sri Adichuchanagiri Shikshana Trust, which has established several other technical education institutions, polytechnic college, pharmacy colleges, etc…This education college is affiliated to Kuvempu University.

Course Details:

B.G.S College of Education is offering Bachelor of education course and the duration of the course is one year. The electives offered by the college for this course is psychology, geography, history, mathematics, biology, chemistry and physics and it also includes two languages English and Kannada. The main aim of the course is to prepare professionals to carry out different educational responsibilities in the sector of education. This course is based on the latest teacher education curriculum framework brought out by the National Council for Teacher Education.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have completed their bachelor’s degree with not less than 50% of marks are eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Education course offered by B.G.S College of Education.
