B.K. College of Arts & Crafts is located at Bhubaneswar, which is the capital city of Orissa and it is functioning under the administrative control of the Government of Orissa’s  culture department since 1984. The college is working under the jurisdiction of Utkal University of Culture, located at Bhubaneswar.

Course Offered:

B.K. College of Arts & Crafts is offering UG degree course in Visual Arts, which is an integrated course extending for a period of four years. The first year of the course is meant for foundation course and the remaining three years is meant for specialization degree course. The first year course is termed as pre-degree course and the next three years course is termed as final degree course.

Eligibility Criteria:

For getting admission to the visual arts integrated degree course offered by the college, candidates must have completed higher secondary examination in any streams like fine arts & crafts, arts, commerce or science. Also, the candidates must not be more than 23 years on the 1st of July in the academic year of admission.

Selection Process:

For getting admission into B.K. College of Art and Crafts, students must get through the entrance test conducted by the college. Assessment will be made by the college based on her/his theoretical and practical marks secured at the entrance examination and he/she should secure a minimum of 40% of marks in this examination. The candidates successfully clearing the foundation course are admitted to the final degree course.

Annual Arts Exhibition:

With a view to bring out the talents of the students, the college is conducting annual arts exhibition every year and cash prizes are awarded to the students performing well in this exhibition.
