The University of Calicut is in the state of Kerala. The university is located in Thenjipalam and has a number of centers in the adjoining districts. Anvar Jahan Zuberi is the Vice Chancellor. The number of affiliated colleges to the university is more than 250.

The pattern for the Calicut University B.E Electronics and Instrumentation Sixth Semester B.Tech (Engineering) Degree Examination is given below.

Sixth Semester Subjects

There are 8 subjects in the course the names of which are listed below:

1. Engineering Economics & Principles of Management
2. Biomedical Instrumentation
3. Digital Signal Processing
4. Electronic Communication Systems
5. Industrial Instrumentation
6. Advanced Control Theory
7. Mini Project
8. Instrumentation Lab.

Paper Pattern

The internal marks for each of these subjects are 50. The written exam for each of these subjects carries 100 marks. Last two are practical subjects of which the project is evaluated on internal assessment only. The total of internal marks is 400 and that of the written exam is 700.

The university exam consists of five parts. First part consists of short questions, eight in number, carrying 5 marks each. Second part has two questions of 15 marks from module I with a choice to answer one. The third one is also the same but from module II. The other two questions are also of similar type but from module III and IV respectively.
