The paper of Social Science in Chhattisgarh Board Class 10 is comparatively an easy paper and can be scored with high marks, as the levels of question in the paper are not so tough in comparison to other papers. However, you should not consider it as cake walk; a proper preparation is what is required to score well. Moreover, before you step into the examination hall, it is always better to get hang of the paper pattern.

Division in the paper:

The divisions in the paper are not present, and instead there are different question arranged chronologically, as per the marks allotted to each of the question.

Pattern of the paper:

The paper pattern is fairly simple, as there are a total of twenty-three question, and candidates are advised to attempt all of them. There are five different questions which comes in pairs, that means, there are two question offered in a pair, and candidates have to attempt any one, from each of these five pairs. There are certain numbers of question based on short answer, while the rest are narrative and few are even descriptive or Essay type.

Markings evaluated by the Board:

The total mark offered in the paper is one hundred. There are certain questions which carry two marks, certain carries three, while the rest carry five, six, eight and ten marks. The marks distributions of the question are offered as per the general nature of the question itself.

Time allotted for examination:

The time allotted for the exam is three hours, as per the offered by the Chhattisgarh Exam Board.
