The Sanskrit Language paper is very important as different candidates incur with the opportunity to score high marks, as it is a scoring subject. Chhattisgarh Board has included Sanskrit in its course for the interested students.

Division in the paper:

Basically the length of the paper carries different questions and there are no divisions or section in the paper. The questions are offered over the length of the paper.

Pattern of the paper:

The pattern of the paper is very simple. There are a total of twenty-three main questions. Out of these twenty-three questions, five questions are offered in pairs, which means with internal options. There are few questions which are short answer based; few are Essay answer based while few are based of descriptions of poem. However candidates have to attempt the entire question offered in the paper.

Markings evaluated by the Board:

The paper is of 100 marks. There are eight questions for which the marks allotted is 2, one question with marks allotment 3, 2 with 4 marks, six with 5 marks, three with 6 marks, and one question with either seven or eight or ten marks depending on the nature of the question asked. Overall there are no negative marking in the paper.

Time allotted for examination:

The total time allotted for the exam is three hours.
