National Institute of Smart Government (NISG) was established jointly by the Department of Information Technology (DIT) and the Department of Administrative Reforms (DAR&PG). The primary aim of establishing the NISG is to serve leading private sector competencies and resources including financial resources into e-Governance projects so as to speed up effective governance.

The idea of the NISG is to establish itself as a Centre of Excellence in e-Governance by controlling private sector resources through public private partnership mode in order to spread e-Governance. The main responsibility of the NISG is to facilitate application of public and private resources to e-Governance in the areas of capacity building, strategic planning, project consulting, and research & innovation.

Job Profile:

National Institute of Smart Government (NISG) invites application from eligible candidates for the post of Consultant –Technology on contract basis for 2 years for assisting the State Government on technological issues associated to core infrastructure, MMPs and other e – governance projects in Assam, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, Manipur, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Tamil Nadu.

Eligibility:

Educational Qualification – The candidates must have done B.E / B. Tech / MCA essentially. The candidates with MBA / M. Tech are desired. The candidates must have more than 4 years of experience in IT Projects, hardware, networking, infrastructure deployment / software development, security management in IT projects. Candidates with 2 years experience in managing any large scale e-Governance or IT project will be given preference.

The selection for the post is through interview.
