National Brain Research Centre is a deemed university. It is an autonomous institute of the Dept. of Biotechnology under the Government of India. The major objective of this apex co ordinating body is to perform research work in the field of Neuroscience. The other major function of the research centre is to do research work in the field of understanding braing structure and the function in the health and diseases. Mr. P. N.
