Candidates who wish to start a career in the government sector can prepare for the various examination organized by the staff selection commission. Those candidates who are interested to take up a job in the office of the controller and auditor general or in various government departments can attend the Section Officer (Audit) Exam conducted by the SSC. The candidates need to prepare well so that they can pass the examination with ease. Section Officer (Audit) is a group - B non- gazetted post and the candidates can write the departmental test for promotion to higher posts.

Qualifying Examinations for Section Officer (Audit)

The candidates need to pass Section Officer (Audit) Exam to obtain a job as section officer. The staff selection commission is the concerned authority who organizes test for selecting the right candidate as Section Officer (Audit).Graduates with 50% marks are eligible to apply for the exam.

Age Qualification for Section Officer (Audit) Exam

As per the exam notification of the staff selection commission the candidate should be in the age group of 18 -25 years. The reserved category candidates are given age relaxation. Departmental candidates are also given age relaxation as per the rules. Candidates seeking age relaxation should attach a copy of the relevant documents along with the application from and the original should be submitted for verification at the time of Interview.

Exam Pattern of Section Officer (Audit) Examination

The exam pattern for Section Officer (Audit) Examination is divided into two stages. The first is the written test and the second is the interview. The candidates who pass the written test are only called for the interview. The written examination is of objective type and the questions from general awareness, English and numerical ability is included. There will be 300 questions and the time allotted to answer these questions is 2 hours. The candidate can choose English or Hindi medium as per their convenience.

The candidates who clear the written test are called for interview and the total score of the interview is for 100 marks. Those candidates who manage to pass in both the test and interview stages are placed as section officers based on the merit list.

    Dear sir,i want to know that % requirement for various competitiv exam is up to 50% in graduation? But I have 48% and belong to reg category sc but I have 63% in post graduate can I apply exam on that basic. plz reply me
