Cut-Offs of SBI Clerical Exam for Previous Years
This article will discuss upon the SBI Clerical Exam cut off marks of the previous years. The biggest challenge the students had to face in the SBI clerical exams were the cut off marks. The cut off marks can be described as the minimum score of marks the aspirants had to score as to get a place in the merit list. The cut off marks will alter every year on the base of the aspirants’ performance in general.
2011
- The SBI 2011 cut off marks will be between 110 to 120 marks for candidates of the general category.
- The final merit is prepared on the basis of a cut off mark of 200 + 35 marks.
- The general cut off marks for the SBI interview would be between 15 - 20 marks for general candidates.
- The general cut off marks would be between 155 to 165 marks.
2010
Selection: The selection of the candidates was done on the basis of the job notification for clerical staff. The SBI had mentioned that the interview of the aspirants will be held on the ratio of more or less 1: 3 every 33,000 candidates. This number may rise depending on the score of the candidates as well as their ranking when compared to others.
Cut off Marks: The cut off marks was determined by the authorities of the bank on the basis of the overall candidates in each exam. Besides this, candidates were to score above 40 percent to be notified for the interview.
2009
- For General Category: Students had to secure above 40% in each part and above 75% in aggregate.
- For OBC: Students had to secure above 40% in each part and above 65% in aggregate.
- For PH: Students had to secure above 35% in each part and above 40% in aggregate.
- For SC: Students had to secure above 35% in each part and above 55% in aggregate.
- For ST: Students had to secure above 35% in each part and above 50% in aggregate.
2008
As to get a call letter from the SBI Clerical exam, the cut off marks needed for the students was 60%. The sectional cut off was near 30%.
Cut Off – Aspirants who scored above 40 percentile marks in every single one of the 4 exams and an aggregate score of 40% was considered to be ranked satisfactorily high in the examination and were notified about the interview.
