Job Profile:

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Limited is inviting applications from eligible and qualified candidates for filling up the vacant positions of Deputy General Manager and Senior Manager under various fields. Only eligible Indian Nationals are invited to apply for the specified positions. The posts of Deputy General Manager and Senior Manager are available in the fields of Technical, Yard Modernization, Ship Design & Ship Production, Material and Dock.

Eligibility:

Candidates must have age less than the prescribed maximum age limit set for the post as on 1 March 2012. Candidates with age more than the prescribed maximum age limit, will not be considered eligible for the specified positions of Deputy General Manager and Senior Manager.

For the post of Deputy General Manager: The maximum age limit set for the post of 48 years.
For the post of Senior Manager: The maximum age limit set for the post of 45 years.

Educational Qualification:

Candidates must be an Engineering Graduate in relevant discipline or equivalent from a recognized institute or university, which is the minimum educational qualification required for the post.

Deputy General Manager: Minimum 15 years experience in the relevant field is required for the post.

Senior Manager: Minimum 11 years of experience in the relevant field is required for the post.

For the posts of Deputy General Manager: Only 7 posts are available.
(Technical-1, Yard Modernization-1, Ship Design & Ship Production (Mechanical)-3 and Ship Design & Ship Production (Naval Architecture)-2)

For the post of Senior Manager: Only 3 posts are available.
(Material-2 and Dock-1)

Pay Scale:

Deputy General Manager: Consolidated salary of Rs. 32900-58000 per month.
Senior Manager: Consolidated salary of Rs. 29100-54500 per month.

Only General and OBC candidates are required to pay this application fee as SC/ST and PH candidates are exempted from the payment of this application fee.
