Diphu B. Ed College came into existence in the year 1994 and the college is located in the heart of the town of Diphu in the state of Assam. The institute began its educational journey from the academic year 1994-95 with 120 students. The institute is affiliated to the Assam University located at Silchar and it is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education. The students of the college are encouraged to take part in different co-curricular activities.

Diphu B. Ed College offers Bachelor of Education course with affiliation from the Assam University and approval from the National Council for Technical Education. The college offers this course in English medium.

Eligibility requirement:

For getting into the Bachelor of Education course offered by the Diphu B. Ed College, candidates must have obtained not less than 45% of marks in their graduation course in any discipline, which is 40% for SC/ST candidates.

Admission Procedure:

Appropriate candidates will be selected for taking up the B. Ed course from Diphu B. Ed Course based on their performance in the interview, which will be conducted by the interview board for admission formed by the governing body of the college. Admission of students will be based purely on the merit secured by the students in the qualifying examination and the decision of the interview board will be final with respect to selection of candidates.
