The selection procedure for M.A History in Delhi University includes two different categories. Category –A involves a direct admission procedure where in the admission will be given to students who are successful in attaining the specified percentage of marks required for securing admission for this course. Category –B of the selection process is based on a written admission test conducted by the university. The written examination is carried out for a total of 100 marks. The selection test comprises of multiple choice questions for different subject area students. There will be two separate parts in Paper -1 specific to B.A (Hons), B.Com (Hons) and B.Sc (Hons) students. Candidates must finish answering the admission test within 3 hours time limit. Foreign students availing the government of India scholarship need not attempt the admission test. It is compulsory for candidates to attain at least 40% of marks in the admission test to get qualified for the further selection procedures.
