Bharat Electronics Limited shortly called as BEL came into existence in the year 1954 in the city of Bangalore under the Defence Ministry of Government of India to meet the specialized electronic requirements of the Indian Defence Services. The company has two Central Research Laboratories at Bangalore and Ghaziabad respectively.

BEL invites applications from eligible Indian citizens for different positions for its Ghaziabad unit. Some of the details regarding the notification issued by BEL are given below:

Name of the Positions: Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT), Technician ‘C’, Clerk-cum-Computer Operator ‘C’ (CCOP)

Number of Vacancies: Total number of Vacancies is 47, which is divided as follows:

• Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT) – 15 for electronics engineering and 06 for mechanical engineering

• Technician ‘C’ – 12 for Electronics/Radio Mechanics, 05 for Mechanical/fitter and 02 for Electrical/Electrician

• Clerk-cum-Computer Operator ‘C’ (CCOP) – 2 from BBA and 5 from B. Com discipline

Pay Scale:

Engineering Assistant Trainee: Candidates appointed for this position will get a stipend of Rs.4000 for one year of training period and on completion of training, they will get a pay scale of Rs.10050-3%-25450 and other allowances.

Technician ‘C’ and Clerk-cum-Computer Operator ‘C’ (CCOP): Rs. 8740-3%-22150 and DA, HRA and other perks

Eligibility:

Age: The upper age limit for all the position is 25 years for general candidates, which is relaxed up to 10 years for PWD, five years for SC/ST and three years for OBC candidates. For ex-servicemen the age relaxation will be as per government rule.

Selection procedure:

The organization will prepare a combined merit list of the candidates applying for this advertisement and candidates who were sponsored by the Employment exchange and limited number of candidates alone will be called for written test. Candidates, who are shortlisted, will receive the call letters for written test through post. Candidates getting through the written test will be called for interview and final selection will be done based on the performance of the candidates in interview and written test.
