Profile:

Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal was constituted by the Government of India. It was actually established on June 2, 1990. The major objective behind the establishment of the tribunal is to adjudicate the water dispute regarding inter state river cauvery. The terms of Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal has been extended upto 2 November 2008 as per provisions of ISRWD Act, 1956.

Job Profile:

1. Recruitment of Executive Engineer:
Age Limit: Maxmimum age limit set is 56 years.
Eligibility: Candidates should be holding analogous post on regular basis.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.

2. Recruitment of Assistant:
Age Limit: Maxmimum age limit set is 56 years.
Eligibility: Candidates should be holding post of office under the Central Government.
Pay Scale: Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200.

3. Recruitment of UDC:
Age Limit: Maxmimum age limit set is 56 years.
Eligibility: Candidates should be atleast Matriculation passed from recognzied institute.
Pay Scale: Rs. 5200-20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400.

Selection Process:

A personal interview test is the only selection criteria set for the selection of the eligible and qualified candidates.
