What can be the pay scale expected in the government jobs in Water sector?

As far as executive engineer position is concerned, candidates can get a pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100 and for candidates appointed for Assistant position, they can expect a pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800. Candidates appointed for the other positions can get a pay scale as in the other government organizations for that particular job position.

Educational and other qualification required for jobs in Water sector:

Candidates with degrees and diplomas in irrigation and hydraulics engineering, water resource management, rainwater harvesting technology, water resource engineering and water resource planning can find job placement in water sector in Government organizations in India and even graduates in other fields can find placement in non-technical sector of these organizations.

Scope of Water sector:

Water is one of the necessities and every country tries to maintain its water resources to meet the requirements of its people. Therefore, this sector is one among the stable sectors with good employment opportunities.
