Fee structure of Bachelor of Fine Arts
Students, who aspire to pursue their career in fine arts, opt for bachelor of fine arts course. The course emphasize on the natural skills of the students visualization, drawing, sketching. Therefore natural interest of the student is the key factor for pursuing this career. Undergraduate programs of fine arts include cartooning, painting, illustration, graphic designing, painting etc. There are several institutes in India who offers undergraduate programs on fine arts. For getting into some of the colleges for pursing this course, prospective student need to appear on the entrance examination.
The course duration is of four years. These days one can study bachelor of fine arts online as well. There are several foreign institutes who offer online teaching of this programs and it is done according to the student’s time. The fee structure of classroom coaching is between 15,000PA to 30,200PA. In case of private institutes fees vary from 15,000PA to 40,000PA but the course fee is little less in case of government institutes. It is between 10,000PA to 25,000PA. The online course provided by foreign institute’s charge 40,000PA to 60,000PA in Indian currency for the course duration of 2years. The course fee one has to send at the beginning of the course addressing to that foreign institute where the student got enrolled.
The course fee could be reduced if the student has topped and received scholarships. Certain institutes offer scholarships to the meritorious students of their institutes. Government institutes makes relaxation of the fees if the student belongs to backward class or minorities. For getting this relaxation in fees one has to produce relevant evidence to the institute. Underprivileged students also get fee relaxation by both private and government institutes but they also need to produce the certificate of their family annual income.
