Am I eligible to study AMIE course if working as a Technical Assistant in Tamil Nadu Electricity Board being a Diploma Electrical Engineer?
Hello,
I and Vanitha, working in Tamil Nadu Electricity Board as Technical Assistant. I have completed my Diploma in Electrical Engineering. I want to get promotion so I have heard that doing AMIE course can give me benefit. Can I have eligibility to get AMIE certificate directly for Electrical? If so, what is the procedure to get it? |

Quote:
Yes you are eligible to study AMIE being working in TNEB as Technical Assistant with your diploma in Electrical Engineering. The eligibility to study for Senior Technician Membership is a Diploma in Engineering or Technology or its equivalent recognised by council. There is no upper age limit. The Associate Member of Institute of Engineers (A.M.I.E) is a bachelor degree in engineering degree awarded by The Institute of Engineers (India). |
