Information regarding domicile status of AP?

sir

my son has studied 6 - 9 class in A.P & is planning to complete 10 from TAMIL NADU as his father has been transferred to TAMIL NADU who is working in CISF.
if he writes his 10, 11 & 12 exam from tamil nadu will he be regarded as domicile of andhra if not what has he to do to be in 85 % category of locals.i mean what kind of exams has he to write to be a domicile.

please enlighten me on this as i am confused whether to take him to tamil nadu or not . by the way he is studying in CBSE school.
