If you have studied Mathematics subject n Diploma then definitely you are eligible for B.Sc Mathematics.

Eligibility Criteria for B.Sc Computer Science:

-Candidates should have passed 12th standard (or) 3 three years Diploma course with Mathematics as a main subject from any recognized University.

-Candidates should have minimum of 50% marks in Diploma course.

-Age limit for the candidate is 24 years.

Yes, definitely you can do B.Sc Mathematics after completing your diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

If the college in which you want to seek admission provides lateral entry, then you have to appear for lateral entry exam conducted by the college.

If you qualify that exam you can get admission directly in second year of B.Sc.
