After completing your diploma you can apply for admission in B.Tech course from distance.

There is no age limit to pursue B.Tech from IGNOU.

If you are looking for the government job then the value of this degree is as same as regular degree. But many private firms doesn't allow candidates having graduation with distance education to apply for job.

Yes you can do B.Tech from distance education by joining AMIE course. AMIE is equivalent to BE/B.Tech. The only difference between AMIE & B.Tech is that B.Tech is a regular degree course while AMIE is a correspondence graduation course.

AMIE is equivalent to BE/B.Tech in all aspects. You can apply for same job as a b.tech holder do. B.Tech holder have a major advantage over AMIE student that they have a full practical as well as theoretical knowledge while a AMIE student doesn't have.

There is very little value of a Distance B.Tech course. You can do Distance B.Tech after your Diploma and there will be no problem for you in getting admission.
The value of Distance B.Tech is not much and it is very hard to get a job after completion of Distance B.Tech.
So it is up to you now to think about what you want to do.
You can do the Distance B.Tech after Diploma as you are eligible for the course.

I suggest you do B.Tech from Regular university because it is Technical Course. So, it will be better if you have attend the regular classes.

Yes, you are eligible to your B.Tech course through distance after completing your diploma .

You are also eligible to do the same B.Tech course through lateral entry where you can get 1 year benefited.

If you want to do it in Distance only then it is your wish you can do in distance also.

Firstly check the colleges which are best and near to you.

Then Apply for the college which you have chosen by filling their respective application form with some registration fees.

Then they will shortlist from the applied students and if you are selected in that list then you have to pay the college fee and join in the college.
