PG Diploma in Industrial Automation course is available in various colleges in India. Candidates with a BE or BTech in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Chemical Engineering / Applied Electronics and Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control / Electronics & Communication / Mechatronics / Computer Science are eligible to study the PG Diploma in Industrial Automation System Design in NIELIT. PG Diploma in Industrial Automation course contains subjects like Programmable Logic Controller, Process Plant Control & Automation System Design, PLC & PID Controllers, Industrial Data Communication, Distributed Control System, Industrial Drives & Robotics, Panel Designing etc.

PG Diploma in Industrial Automation has a course duration of just 24 weeks. Candidates should have completed their bachelor's degree in engineering in any of the relevant fields (Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation Technology, Chemical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science Engineering) with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university.
