Sir, i am a student of B.tech(EEE) student.What is career oppurtinities in electrical and electronics engineering?

Dear Friend

The base branch of EEE is Electrical Engineering.
So, you can apply for all sort of jobs available for Electrical Engieers.
Apart from taking up job you can advance for higher Studies in the related field.
For higher studies you will have to appear GATE for M.Tech. in India.
Yuo will have to take GRE test for higher studies in foreign countries.
You can also take up jobs in software companies.

All major Govt. and private firms and industries recruit EEE passed out students.
Apart from that you can apply for Indian Engineering Services Examination
conducted by UPSC.

Also, you can apply for Indian Civil Services Examination by taking an optional subject
'Electrical Engineering'.

after complete your degree engineering then you go for
job in your branch ,
then you go for company job or government job.
but after that
for EEE branch student you go for job in both companys like
Electrical and Electronics also

Electrical company like:-
OPTCL
GRIDCO
BHEL
HAL
SAIL

Electronics company like:-

BSNL
SONY
SAMSUNG
NOKIA
etc.

Government job like:-

IAS
IFS
IPS
RAILWAY
DEFENSE
etc.

all are good facility for EEE student............

The career opportunities after completing the Btech in the Electrical branch or Electronics branch is quite wide .You can apply for many jobs in the government sector as well as in the private sector .

After completing your Btech in the EEE and in the ECE you can apply for the following jobs in the MNC .The various companies hires students who have got the good communication skill and the Technical knowledge.You can work in these areas ::

Chip and VLSI Design
Training Companies for ECE Students
Thermal Plants
Electronics
Robotics
Telecommunications Systems
Microwave Research
Electronics Hardware Manufacturing
Communications

Most of these companies hires students through their online campus placement program or through the offline campus placement .The basic eligibility criteria for these companies ranges from the 60% to 65% marks .

The other government jobs for the EEE and ECE students are ::

CDSE:: You can apply for the CDSE exam which is conducted by the UPSC twice a year for the ARMY,NAVY and AIR FORCE .

IES::You can also apply for IES exam .It is also conducted by the UPSC.

Civil services ::This exam is done for the post of IPS,IAS and many more .You can apply for this exam also .

dear mukesh,
i think you have asked this question by watching the current scenario of eee students who have passed out their exams but are not able to get good jobs.
-well if you think about the future then the future of eee branch students is very bright because the student contains both electronic an electrical knowledge.
-right now that value of it branch is very low because the it sector in america is fallen down but as new technologies are developing eee will be an evergreen line
-and after 2 or 3 years eee branch will be number one i.e,on the top

There are some private or govt job/company

Electrical & Electronics private company like:-

see as you have a first class marks ie above 60% you can look for vacancies generated by companies like SAMSUNG, GODREJ,LG, VIDEOCON, SONY etc. these companies are well renowned so to be placed in this you have to work hard . look for vacancies in employnment news papaer, you can also look for vacancies in a particular company at its own website. or the best thing is place your cv at job searching websites like naukri.com or monster.com these websites will update you with the latest vacancies generated by diffrent companies in your field. and once you get the idea of the vacancies go for the interview. face the interview with your 100% , give your best. and surely you will achieve what you want
