Diploma in mechanical (through lateral entry) from RVP is valid?
I have completed my diploma in mechanical engineering (through lateral entry) from RVP during session 2004-2006 through distance learning mode. Is it valid.

The lateral entry program is being offered in universities and engineering colleges enabling students who have completed a 3-year diploma in engineering or B.Sc. Degree or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and Mathematics as compulsory subject in class XII, for direct admission to second year.
