You have completed diploma in mechanical engineering,it is not possible to opt for degree in aerospace engineering at B.Tech level through lateral entry.But you can change your stream at M.tech level.it is possible to change from Mechanical to Aerospace engineering.

why not? you have completed diploma in mechanical engineering. many subjects in aerospace engineering are based on your subjects. without mechanical , aerospace and aeronautical can't work. when compared to diploma in computer engineering you have a best chance for doing aerospace engineering course. so work hard for your future.

There is no lateral entry for B Tech Aerospace engineering under IGNOU.
