Shri Surinder Kumar and Nirmal Das both Draughtsman acquired Diploma in Civil Engineering from Institute of Advanced Studies in Education Deemed University, Gandhi Vidya Mandir, Sardarshahr, Rajasthan i.e. mode of distance education. My question is that whether Gandhi Vidya Mandir Sardarshahr Rajasthan is recognized by the AICTE and Diploma acquired by both Draughtsman are valid for Government service.

Validity of Diploma in Civil Engineering through distance mode of education is as follows.

Gandhi Vidya Mandir, Sardarshahr, Rajasthan is not recognized by AICTE.

Any technical course done from this university is valid for any recruitment.

Technical course done by distance mode are not valid.

Admission taken in the approved Open and Distance Learning (ODL) program during the recognition period stands recognized till the completion of course even if the University does not have recognition for further years provided the programme is offered as per the UGC norms of territorial jurisdiction and in conformity.

The duration of this course is 3 years.
