What is the course duration of B.Tech(Aeronautical Engineering) after completing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering?


Hello everyone,
After doing Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
3 years course I want to know how many years
of course duration of B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering?

The general duration of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) course is four years. For candidates who have completed three years Diploma course, the duration of B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering) course is three years because, Diploma holders can get direct admission in second year of four years B.Tech course through Lateral Entry Process after completion of your three years Diploma course.

Actually the duration of B.Tech(Aeronautical Engineering) course is 4 years at any university, but the duration is 3 years for the candidates who have completed their diploma course, because candidates who have completed their diploma course will get direct admission in second year of B.Tech(Aeronautical Engineering) course. So, that you can complete your B.Tech only within 3 years.

No you will not be able to study the course of Aeronautical Engineering in your B.Tech Degree.
The courses you are eligible to pursue after you have completed the course of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering are B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and B.Tech in Automobile Engineering.
So you will have to study any one of these courses.
The course of B.Tech will take 3 more years to complete in both the streams.
