What is the procedure for admission from diploma to degree? Are there any entrance exam?

Depending on the school and the subject, there may be differences in the admissions process from diploma to degree. However, the following steps are included generally:

1. Research and select the universities or colleges offering the desired degree program that accepts diploma holders.

2. Check the eligibility criteria for admission, which may include a minimum percentage of marks in the diploma program, specific subjects studied, and other requirements.

3. Check whether an entrance exam is required for admission. Some institutions may conduct an entrance exam for diploma holders seeking admission to degree programs, while others may not.

4. Fill out the application form for admission and submit the required documents, such as the diploma certificate, mark sheets, identity proof, and other relevant certificates.

5. Attend the counseling session if required by the institution.

6. If selected, pay the admission fee and complete the other formalities as required by the institution.

Diploma holders who want to get admission into degree courses other than engineering should first of all select the course for which they are eligible. Then they should obtain the application form from the relevant institution by paying the application fee in cash.

Lateral Entry Engineering Test is a examination through which you can take admission in 2nd year or third semester of B E / B.Tech course.

Eligibility:-
You can take admission in the BE /B.Tech programs if:-
You pass any diploma degree of Minimum 3 years after 10th.
You qualify LEET with at least 20% aggregate marks and 15% for SC/ST students.
