I want to apply an education loan from Indian Overseas Bank. I want to do MBA which also requires laptop. I don’t have a laptop so I can get a laptop under the education loan scheme of this bank?

The laptop expenses are covered under education loan scheme.

If it's required during the course of study and without which you cannot do , then bank will consider it as an expense.

Some banks cover 85% and some cover 80% of cost.
There is a provision for fund allocation for a "laptop".
