Hello, I am interested to apply for an education loan in Oriental Bank of Commerce for studying MBA course in Abroad. After searching alot I didn’t understood about Collateral Security. Can I know about this Collateral Security of Education Loan in Oriental Bank of Commerce?

For loans upto 4 lacs , no collateral security
For loans above 4 lacs and upto 7.5 lacs
Collateral security in the form of one suitable third party gurantee , preferably of other family members/ close relative .
In case of commercial pilot course life insurance policy will be obtained.

Parent/guardian should be joint borrower irrespective of age of student

Co obligation if spouse/parent in case of married women.
