Education loan is given to the deserving candidates who secure a good rank in the exam and are unable to pay the fee.

Management seat students do not fall under this criteria.

To take a management seat, you need to take a personal loan from a bank and the terms of credit change as per that only.

Students taking admission in recognised private institution under management quota will also be eligible for education loan.

Those who have appeared in any entrance test , secured passing marks but could not get admission due to lower ranking, and who opt to persue the course under management quota in same institution or another institution for reasons of convenience or choice of course will be eligible for sanction of loan amount.

Yes, you are eligible for the education loan merit students taking admission in recognised private Institutions under management quota will also be eligible for bank education loans. This clause has been incorporated by the Indian banks Association in its revised model education loan scheme. The reason is that there have been causes of meritorious students, despite getting admission in a government college, preferring to join a private Institution. This can be for several reasons including proximity to home and not getting the course of choice in the government college.
