Yes, UGC approved certificate of college is required for education loan.
You will only get loan if your college is approved by UGC.
If your college is not approved by UGC then your load application will be rejected.

Banks will provide education loans for students in India for graduation/post graduation regular Technical and professional couresl. For Degree/diploma courses conducted by colleges/universities approved by UGC/AICTE/IMC/Govt. etc. Regular Degree/Diploma courses conducted by autonomous institutions like IIT, IIM etc.

Yes, UGC approval certificate is required in order to get education loan. All the banks sanction loan to students only for the institutes which are well recognized by competent authorities and UGC is the primary authority. If there is no UGC approval, most of the banks will not sanction the loan. However, there are certain exceptions like if the institutes is located in abroad, the institute holds high reputation and exposure facilities or the institute has a tie-up with the bank.
