Indian Banks they provide education loan to Indian Nationals for pursing higher studies in India or abroad where student has taken admission.

For getting eligible for education loan to study in India, there are few criteria have been set. Those students who are seeking education loan should have secured admission into either graduation or post-graduation or some technical course which are recognized by UGC/AICTE/IMC or government body.

Not for vocational training and skill development study course, it’s not under educational loan scheme. There will be a different scheme for vocational education and trainings.

Education loan will cover fees payable to college or school or hostel, examination fees, library fees or laboratory fees, purchase of books, expenses of travel, uniform, computer and more. Two wheeler cost is also covered at a maximum amount of 50k.

For studies in India, 10 lacs is the limit and for study in abroad its 30 lacs.
