Different banks have different charges like in HDFC Bank9.55% to 13.25% p.a. for full time course.
12.75% for part time course. Karnataka Bank 9.95%p.a.onwards Federal Bank 12.30% p.a.onwards |

The interest rates will be floating for entire period of loan and is different for different bank. State Bank of India charges Education Loan Portal mean rate of interest 9.37%.

How much interest is charged in Student Loan?
Interest rate of 11.65% to 11.90% is charged in student loan by banks in India. Given are the banks that can give you an education loan easily: 1. Axis Bank, 2. ICICI Bank, 3. HDFC Bank, 4. Kotak Bank.
