I have searched alot and got information about the education loan of J&K Bank. I want to take an Education Loan for studying Abroad. But in J&K Bank Education Loan Scheme, I didn’t understand about the moratorium period. Can anyone of you let me know about this term under this education loan scheme?

Moratorium period or repayment holiday in J&K Bank education loan scheme is the course period + 1 year. Students can repay the loan amount in equated monthly installments (EMI) up to a period of 15 years. The accrued interest during the repayment holiday period to be added to the principal and it will be repaid in Equated Monthly Installments (EMI) fixed. Students can get up to Rs 10 Lakhs for studies in India and Rs 20 Lakhs for studies abroad under J&K Bank education loan scheme. Students can find the details in the website link given Click Here

The moratorium period of J&K Bank Education Loan Scheme for Abroad studies is Course period plus one year or six months after getting a job, whichever is earlier.

The repayment tenure of J&K Bank Education Loan Scheme is 15 years.
