hello friends,it is impossiable to speak the exact band width of rank in which candidade may will have chance in nits.as year to year it is varied.though if your rank will be in between 10000,then i can say you have great probability to chance in nits.........

you have to score really very well in the aieee exam,
and your rank should be within 5000
so that you can get any of the nit with any of the course

i got 25 marks in aieee my category is sc can i get seat in any nit college

I am sharing one more thing after the previous posts, your admission in local NIT depends upon your state rank and state rank is different from AIR.
For example if you are a domicile of rajasthan then gaining AIR of 20000 is of no use because your state rank would lie after 2500 which is of no use . But at the same AIR of 20000 , if you are a domicile of Haryana then your state rank would lie before 1000 , because competition is less in haryana as compare to rajasthan. Although state rank 1000 can not give guarentee for a good branch but atleast you would have it.

hi i want to tell u that if u got the all india ranking within or around 2000 then u can get admission in nit's.So prepare well for your exams.

if you want a NIT college so you must be secure rank between 1 to 2500..

The AIEEE is a competitive examination which is conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)for the admission of students in various prestigious NITs around the country ..

And for the admission in the NIT's you must have to score less then 14000 in AIEEE.

also your rank should be within 20000.

if you mention that your reserved candidate it will help in you the way of acheiving rank to in your category

if not mentioned in the reserved category then you'll be considered as general candidate and your rank will be announced in general category section


you'll not avail the priveleges given by the central board

you may not get a good rank with it even though you're a reserved candidate you have to fight with other applicants like a general category student

yeah hopefully if you get a good rank in aieee then also you can produce the caste certificate then you'll avail certain facilities like you will get free admission in some of nit's and so on

nothing wrong without mentioning also but you will loose the opportunity to get in NIT's if you do not study well

To get admission in the NIT. All things depend on the ALL INDIA RANK which should be minnimum as possible as.This rank depend on the minimum cutoff marks and the score you obtain in the AIEEE Exam.
your rank matters most,firstly you need to get enough marks to get qualify into central counselling so that you are applicable for NIT Counselling.
Your choice of branch and the college both matters.they have different weightage so prepare well and Best of luck.

If you are belonging to general category then you have to score at least 130 marks this year to get into any one of the NIT..
For this i will surely say you will get at least NIT Hamirpur .
and For SC/ST candidates it comes down to around 70 marks ..
means that student who have 70 marks in their AIEEE are can take admission in NIT Hamirpur and others NIT...Here i am enclosing Last two year opening and closing rank in NIT Hamirpur...

Its your all india rank that decides that where you can get admission rather than marks scored.
To get admission in good NITs with good branches one needs to score at least 10000 All India Rank. However, one can get admission in NITs upto 20000 but the choices and preferences of college and branch are difficult to get.
