There is no sports quota in AIEEE 2010 and this academic year 2011 too.

This academic year AIEEE 2011 is going to be conducted on 01-05-2011.

Admission into several prestigious institutes through AIEEE is purely on the basis of performance in AIEEE.

The minimum eligibility to appear for AIEEE 2011 is a pass in 10+2 or an equivalent exam.

Prepare for the exam well and attempt well and hope for the best

There is no sports quote in Aieee.

1. There may be a sports quota. If there is not participating is not enough. You have to win something at the national level.
Don't lose hope. Cross check with the NCERT official website:[*]ncert.nic.in

I will always advise you to pusue your talent in basketball, play for your state and try to reach the nations and internationals.

Sorry to say but there is no sports quota of sports in AIEEE
sports quota is generally taken account in DELHI UNIVERSITY and other graduation university.

There is no sport quota, you have to secure selection on the basis of marks obtained in entrance exam.

I think there is such type of quota in AIEEE exam to get admission in Engineering colleges.

You may get admission by getting qualify marks in entrance exam.Otherwise you cannot get.

Sport Quota in AIEEE

There are no any sport quota in AIEEE. If you are a sport man
then you can not get any reservation in AIEEE according to
AIEEE eligibility criteria. If you want to know more information

I AM VERY SORRY TO SAY YOU THAT TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AIEEE DOES NOT PROVIDE ANY RESERVATION FOR SPORTS QUOTA STUDENT.

The eligibility criteria for AIEEE are as follows :

•Age-17 to 25 years .there is a provision of age relaxation upto 5 years for sc/st students.

•Educational Qualification- Candidate must have either passed or appearing in 12th board with atleast 50% with physics,chemistry and maths

•Reservation- 27% for OBC candidates.
5% for SC/ST candidates.
3% for physically disabled person.


So, you can get the benefit in some other colleges but not in NITs.

their is no sports quota in any entrance exam including aieee,jee,bitsat,etc. and it can't be since admissions to these institute is purely based on merit and not extra curricular activities but some colleges in delhi and haryana does provide a very low quota for taking admissions in their colleges .

No my friend there is no sports quota in AIEEE exam for sure.
other than colleges under AIEEE ,whichever colleges have, they also have at national level and not district level.

I am sorry to say that their is sports Quota in AIEEE exam. But as you have mention that you have played of basketball for cbsc level and state level so this is very good talent you have , you can also play for the national level basketball if you will go through this and after this international level then Olympic , and you will increase the medal for our nation. i will advise to you that you can make career in this industry if you have Passion to play more.

You can also get the admission in universities by the sports Quota.
