I shall be appearing in AIEEE 2010 and am desirrous of obtaining
admission in Thapar Engg College.
I have played in CBSC National Basketball tournament as well as
played Basketball in district level. May I requuest you to please
clarify if I qualify for consideration in sports quota during AIEE 2010.

i dont think there is any sports quota in aieee....but if you want it in a specific college then you have to speak to the college administration for that......they can only try for it.........

I think there is no sports quota in AIEEE 2010 howver, i will advice you to once go through the AIEEE official website www.aieee.nic.in

there is a sports quota in aieee, but you should be winner of national medal

your not elegible because you dont have a medal at national level,

there is an sports quota but i don't think that only playing at national levels makes you eligible, you can check with aieee office

there is no sports quota in aieee yiou will have to qualify tthe exam as well as good scores in 12th board

no there is no sports quota in aieee but if you go for any state college or for any other colleges other than NIT's then you can have the advantage of spots quota. so you apply for any other college then you can get the sports quota.

i think you should have clear the exam first, there is no sport quota in aieee.

In my opinion there is no sports quota in Aieee sorry for that

no sports quota is availiable in aieee, dont wadte your time in any quota, just prepare well and clear the exams first.

there is no sports quota or anything such like that type of reservation.
you just need to have cleared AIEEE exam and secured a good rank .based on your rank you will get a college.

this is parsuram. i o secured first position in long jump at the national level held at ahemdabad. will i get admission in nit for b. tech or in any government college

there is no sports quota in aieee exam. You will not find any option regarding this in prospectus of aieee exam. But if you want it then you must contact the authorities of the college in which you are seeking admission.only they can do something.

Sorry there is no sports quota in AIEEE. Its only in private colleges. Admission is totally on the basis of merit

There is no sports quota in AIEEE.
But if you are trying in some deaned collage then sports certificate is valuable.

You cannot get a sports quota in an entrance exam, though most of the colleges gives sports quota.

So, you can go for specific college which gives reservation or scholarship for sports persons.

Secondly, eligibility for sports quota varies from college to college.

I think there is no sports quota in AIEEE because aieee only for engineering course and not sports.

their is no sports quota in any entrance exam including aieee,jee,bitsat,etc. and it can't be since admissions to these institute is purely based on merit and not extra curricular activities but some colleges in delhi and haryana does provide a very low quota for taking admissions in their colleges .

Sports quota doesn't exists in AIEEE, but colleges have sports quota [specially govt. colleges].

Yes there are chances that some govt college can take you on the basis of your national certificate.

But i am not sure as the isc national level certificate doesn't have that much priority.

So, go and try.

There is nothing like sports quota in AIEEE.
Only OBC, SC,ST students get reservation.

there is no sports quota in aieee.

Sorry , there exists such quotas but they only accept national recognitions. Means national awards is necessary to get such advantages.

its very good that you have participated in various events and its show that you are a active member and you don't need any quota..you can crack the AIEEE.

but sorry dude,
there is no sports quota in AIEEE.
if it there we will let you know first.

Sir I'am styuding in 12th and I'll be completing mine 12th board exams and result will be announce till june 2012. And i want to do any course through sports quota, so please kindly tell me that after 12th which course i should do which grants me admission through sport quota should i take admission in college or, in an university. And if it is possible than which college or university (Top five specialist in this field Both college and university).

As far there is no sports quota in AIEEE 2010.
I think you can crack without any quota.

sorry but there is no relaxation in AIEEE MARKS but you may get relaxation form some
colleges but not from NIT'S

RELAXATION IN AIEEE:

Age :
between 17 – 25 years can only apply for the AIEEE.
five years age relaxation for the SC, ST.

education::
no relaxation for any one .one should be 12th pass

reservation of seats ::
27% for OBC
5% for SC/ST
3% for PH .

other then this there is no relaxation
