karnataka state open university( KSOU) is not approved by AICTE (All India council of technical education) .

Karnataka State Open University is approved by UGC.

If any university is approved by UGC , then it will not create any problem to your future for Jobs because in maximum jobs want UGC approval .

So you can do here M.sc Chemistry.

In the case central govt jobs it will create some problem .

The Karnataka State Open University has been recognized by the following organization -
