The All India Council for Technical Education only recognizes Master of Business Administration and Master of Computer Application offered through distance mode. Apart from these two courses, the council do not recognizes any other course offered by any university through this mode.

So, whether it is Karnataka State Open University or any other university, if you want to pursue B.Tech in Electronics through correspondence, your degree will not be recognized by AICTE.

As far as the recognition of Karnataka State Open University is concerned, it is recognized by University Grant Commission as well as by Distance Education Council of India.

B.Tech or M.Tech from Karnataka State Open University through Distance learning is not approved by AICTE nor DEC. DEC recently issued a show sause notice to Karnataka State Open University as they were misguiding students that they provides B.Tech or M.Tech under DCE approval. In distance mode no university or institute can give B.Tech or M.Tech degree.

Vananchal college dhanbad has been approved by aicte and this college is deemed or not pls give me information about it.

Dear Friend,

There is no need of approval from AICTE for offering Distance Education Course.

For offering Distance Education Course , you need an approval from the Distance Education Council (DEC).

Also , Karnataka State Open University has got approval from the DEC to offer Distance Education Courses.

However , it is not approved by the All India Council For Technical Education to offer Technical Degree Courses.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

For Distance Education the university wants to be approved by the DEC(Distance Education Council) so KSOU was approved by the DEC, no need for AICTE approval for distance education.

KSOU(Karnataka State Open University) was not approved by the AICTE, but it is approved by the UGC(University Grants Commission) and DEC. The approval letters are attached below.

From all india level anyone can do their X or XII from NIOS national institute of open schooling Delhi in their own mother toung.
No bonding for maths science marathi history or geography.
They can take five simple subject and can cleartheir X in April2015.
