yes you can appear for clerk exam.....
but, there are few banks that their eligibility criteria change like corporation bank require graduate student and now a new recruitment in PNB also require graduate.
so, you have to check respective bank web site about their criteria but most of the banks criteria is 10+2.
if you have basic computer knowledge than it will help you.so,get some basic knowledge and if require join some computer classes if necessary.
and for clerk the speed is also important as accuracy because you have only 90 minutes for 200 questions.
i hope this help you.
all the best.

hi frd,
The minimum qualification for bank clerk is 12th and the age should be more than 18. the most important thing is the marks means one should score more than or atleast 60%, otherwise you are not eligible.

The educational criteria for bank clerk post vary from bank to bank. Some bank need 12th pass with 50% some with 55% some with 60% and some banks demand for gradution. So for bank clerk the minimum educational rulieication required is 50%. If you have obtained at lest 50% in 12th class than you are eligible for clerk post of some banks.

yes my friend,
A 12 pass student can apply for CLERK examination.

But you did not tell me the marks in 12th standard.
Normally good banks are asking for minimum 60% marks in 12th standard.

1.GRAMEEN BANK
2.DENA BANK.
3.YES BANK.
4.MALLABHUM BANK.
5.IDBC BANK.

But you can not apply for these bank :

1.SBI
2.UBI
3.ICICI
4.HDFC BANK.
5.RBI
