Re: Direct SSB for NDA based on 12th marks?
YEAH there is a procedure for direct call to S.S.B but this entry has no relation with your NDA examination.
The entry is based on your 10+2 P.C.M marks the entries are as follows: 1)10 + 2 Technical Entry in Indian Navy : 10+2 Technical Entry in Indian Navy is for male students who have passed 12th standard with PCM and obtained not less than 75% in aggregate Age : Candidates should be between 16 ½ to 19 ½ years as on 01 Jan on the year of commencement of the course. Technical Entry Educational Qualification : Senior Secondary Examination (10 +2) or is equivalent from University / Board with at least 75 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Physical Standard of Technical Entry : Height and Weight : Minimum acceptable height is 157 Cms with co-relatedWeight and proportionate chest with minimum 5 cms expansion. Eye Sight : Unaided distant vision 6/12, 6/18. 2) 10 + 2 Technical Entry Army : 10+2 Technical Entry is for male candidates who have passed 12th Class with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with not less than 70%. Age : A candidate must not be below 16 ½ years and over 19 ½ years on the first day of the month in which the course is commencing (i.e for course commencing in January 2007, the candidate should not be born before 01 July 1987 and not after 01 July 1990- both dates inclusive). An only unmarried male candidate who is a citizen of India is eligible to apply for the course. Technical Entry Educational Qualification : Candidate should have passed Higher Secondary Examination (10 + 2 Pattern) or its equivalent from University / Board with minimum 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). Selection Procedure : No written test. Short listed candidates are called for SSB Interview at any one of the following Services Selection Boards – Allahabad, Bangalore. Or Bhopal. Duration 4 to 10 days including medical Candidates will be put through two stage selection at the SSB. On getting recommended by the SSB the candidates will asked to undergo medical examination conducted by the Military Hospitals. All those candidates who are found medically fit will be put into the merit list as per the Marks scored by them at the SSB Interview. One second class return fare is admissible for the SSB Interview (Applicable for the first time only) |

Re: Direct SSB for NDA based on 12th marks?
No, you can't go for SSB directly for NDA.
However if you have physics, chemistry and maths, you can go for TES [technical entry scheme]. In TES, you directly go for SSB and if you manage to get into the final merit list, you get a call letter for IMA. |

Quote:
No,there is no such direct entry criteria to get into NDA after 10+2.this criteria is only applicable in IMA through 10+2 Tech Entry you can apply after your 12th Exams. Minimum aggregate of 70% is mandatory in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Look out for the advertisement published in leading newspapers/employment news in May/Dec every year. Total training is five years. (one year at IMA Dehradun and four years at Cadet Training Wings). but to get into NDA You can take the NDA entrance exam right after class XI. Clear the UPSC exam and a 5-day Service Selection Board interview, pass your medicals, and you're in NDA. Three years in NDA and you will be a much improved person. |

Re: Direct SSB for NDA based on 12th marks?
No way to go for the direct SSB for NDA any way you must clear the NDA exam then only you can go for the SSB and can join the Armed Forces as an officer cadre. no matter about your percentage in the +2 just 60% is the eligibility for the NDA
you can also check from nda website ie www.upsc.gov.in |
