i totally agree with u bro.bcz ece is a multipurpose stream in which a person can do everything which he wants and thr r two ways open either software nd core.

Don't be so much confused i a helping you out.First of all if you are in a very good college like iit or nit then your decision of cse is good but if you are going in a private college then go for ece.Because when software companies will come for campus interview ece will be elligible together with cse but when ece core will come for interview cse are not elligible therby showing the supremacy of ece.
Moreover in ece branch also programing is taught so with little more labour you can have job opportunites of both ece and cse.

IT field is going so fast now that there is good placement also and good scope in future for

both department is good as per placement and job . now the top two stream are CSE and ECE .we cant distinguish them. but ECE is little better than CSE.

because if you have to join in ece you have lots of scope in govt sector but less scope in private. the mass requirement are done by private sector.

but if you can join in CSE then you have better for private sector job.

so you can choose any of these stream.

Getting a job in Core electronics company is difficult, u may require m.tech in electronics . If u very studious then u can opt for ece but if u r good in maths and have a logical mind then u should opt for cse . Indian IT people are in great demand to work on overseas projects so u can earn high.
Moreover , if ur college or university is IIT,NIT,PEC,THAPPAR OR DCE then u can think for ece otherwise don't think to opt for ece because other colleges don't have proper workshops or u can say proper environment for exposure of ece students.

Till now how many of you have heard students getting placed in intel, AMD & other leading chip making company, I bet you must have heard about students getting placed in Microsoft, HCL, Google, Infosys etc.

Its true that ECE students have wider areas to work.

Remeber A company doesn't seeks HOW MANY FIELDS YOU KNOW, COMPANY SIMPLY WANTS YOU TO BE THE MASTER OF A PARTICULAR FIELD. When are you are best in something you need not to think about jobs. Companies will Run after you.

all the branch have its own importance . CSE & ECE both have importance . You must select your stream according to your interest . But i personally suggest you to go to ECE because in future you can apply for the jobs in core & software both fields .

if you better in programming then go for cs
and if better in chip designing then go for ece
choice is yours go with your interest

hey friends i would like to say that ECE is the best field in engineering bcoz it opens ur scope in both electronics as well as communication branch also an ECE student can enter in IT sector too. Government jobs are in plenty in ECE sector which is also a very charming point in this field so best of luck and work hard for your future......

I would suggest you to take CS over ECE. Because I'm currently strugling with ECE stream.Even though ECE have a greater job scope. Computer science is the best as we can do many things with computer. You can perform many applications,websites,web pages and programming with using only one device that is computer but ece stream requires to concentrate on many devices like CRO,AFO,Resistors etc.

According to me electronics is best branch that CSE.This is because CSE is most uncertain branch eventhoug they are offering more salaries.Electronics department now a days have plenty of chances in outside and also they are providing reasonable salaries.ECE department also have plenty chances in government sector,but CSE have little chances in private sector.

according to me ece is better than c.s because it has much own scope and c.s.e scope.
