congratulations to a budding nurse....you can join as a nurse in indian ary in mns that is military nursing service after clearing written exam,interview,medical fitness test,....salary and facilities are awesome....initially you will get the rank of leutinent then captain ...good luck

hai i am a male nurse completed b.sc nursing . i am intrested in military service but every time i am seeing the notification only females can apply what is this every where male nurses are there even state governments also taking male nurses but why the military services are not accepting males plz sir we also citizens of india we have rights to serve the country by our services .can anybody tells the reason for gods sake . if any process plz tell us sir if we follow that thank you.

Hai,.
You can join the Indian Army nursing services if
you posses the required qualification for this
post. You need to have your B.Sc or M.Sc degree
in nursing. You should be between 21-35 years.
You can join as SSC nursing officers in Military
Nursing services. The notifications regarding this will be published. You should attend the written
examination as part of it. If you qualify in the
written examination you can attend the personal
interview.

Hello ,

You need to have your B.Sc or M.Sc degree in nursing. You should be between 21-35 years.


If you already have your scholarship for college you can simply apply after you get your degree.

If you don't have a scholarship you can either join enlisted and apply for the AMEDD enlisted commissioning program (listed at the bottom of the page I linked you to) or you can take student loans and get most of them paid back at the completion of your school after joining.

*Height: 157 cms or above (about 5'2" )
*Marital status: un married (differs in some posts)
*Age: varies as per post (in common 20 to 24 years)
*Shall have a sound physical fitness both in terms of HEALTH and POSTURE.
*NCC candidates are given more preference.(Benefit to NCC candidates)

To join Indian Army as nurse, you can apply for M.E.R. exam.

This exam is conducted four times in a year.

Through this exam, the aspirants can apply for the post of Commissioned Officer.

Eligibility criteria for this exam :-

1] Nationality :- The aspirants must be a citizen of India or may be Nepal.

2] Martial Status :- The aspirants must be unmarried.

3] Gender :- The aspirants must be male.

4] Age limit :- The age limit of the aspirants must be between 17.5 to 23 years.

5] Educational Qualifications :- The aspirants must be passed his 12th with medical stream from any recognized board.

6] Physical requirements :-

>> Height : The minimum height of the aspirants must be 167 cms.

>> Weight : The weight of the aspirants must be normal.

Selection procedure for this exam consists of three stages :-

1] Written test

2] Personal interview

3] Medical test

The written test consists of two paper :-

1] Paper 1 of 100 marks of 45 minutes.

2] Paper 2 of 100 marks of 45 minutes
