hi, to all..please help me....I did my B.sc nursing..and now i want to join indian army as a nurse ..so wat should i do..?how i build my career as a nurse in army...PLease provide me necessary information....i shall be grateful to you

from the army office, they will call for nurse jobs, keep watching employment news, news paper weekly, and also check army website

you can join indian army in their nursing corps.

you have to appear for an entrance,after that passing the interview you will be commissioned for training with a monthly stipend.

after completing training you will be commissioned as officer in indian army.

just keep you updated through employment news and leading news papers.

yes army provides vacencies for qualified nurses.....check out the notofication on the official website of Indian army......
the salory is equivalent to a officer along with all the facilities that a officer gets.......

female candidates who have passed B.Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Certificate of B.Sc. (Nursing)/ M.Sc.(Nursing) in first attempt for grant of SSC in the Military Nursing Service as Nursing Officers.

Qualification :

1)B.Sc.(Nursing) / Post Certificate B.Sc.(Nursing)/ M.Sc.Nursing qualification from a recognised university
2)be a registered, as State Registered Nurse and Midwife.

age:21-35 years as on 31/12//2009.

Step 1
Contact Your Local Army Health Care Recruiter.

Step 2
Provide Official Documentation.
Provide your Health Care Recruiter with official documentation that supports your citizenship status, current level of nursing education, nursing license information, work history, and prior military service, if applicable.

Step 3
Request Qualification Validation.
Your Health Care Recruiter will request validation of your entry grade and qualifications to hold an Area of Concentration (AOC) (for example: Med-Surg Nurse, Critical Care Nurse, etc).

Step 4
Obtain a "Commissioning" physical.
With the help of your Health Care Recruiter, obtain a "commissioning" physical examination from the nearest Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).

Step 5
Complete an EPSQ.
Complete an Electronic Personnel Security Questionnaire (EPSQ) to request a security clearance.

Step 6
Write Your Motivational Statement.
Write your motivational statement about why you want to become an Army Nurse Corps officer and sign all required documents.

Step 7
Submit Your Application.
Your Health Care Recruiter will submit your application to the Army Nurse Corps Accession Board.

Step 8
Accession Board Selection.
If you are selected by the Accession Board then you will be contacted and offered your first military assignment.

Step 9
Officially Accept The Offer.
A commissioned officer will assist you in taking your Oath of Office as an Army Nurse Corps officer.

First, you will need to get a bachelor's degree in nursing (B.S.N.) in order to apply for and gain a commission in the Nurse Corps of any branch......If you are interested in advanced nursing you have to compete with PAs. Other than nurse anesthesia or nurse midwife, I would not recommend the service as the way to become an advanced nurse practitioner. It is a good way to get the GI BILL so you can go for a masters degree after you do your four years...........

The minimumQualification required to join MNS (militry nursing staf) is 12th with biology then there is entrance exam for the MNS .

After clearing the entrance exam you must pass the interview also

As you have completed Bsc then this entrance exam is easy for you to crack.
