sorry 3rd year student can not apply for BSNL jto. but final year student are eligible to apply.
following disciplines from a recognized engineering college / university :

1. Telecommunication,
2. Electronics,
3. Radio,
4. Computer,
5. Electrical

Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply.

BSNL-JTO means BHARAT SANCHAR NIGAM LTD-Junior Telecom Officers.

Since it is February ,the notification for the BSNL-JTO examination will come at any time so be aware for the notification,and do visit the website www.bsnl.co.in

And the competitive entrance exam will be held in the month of April or May.

Eligibile stream for the BSNL-JTO exam are BE/B.Tech (Computer Science Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Science/Technology, Instrumentation & Control Engineering)

no any 3rd year B.tech students can not apply for BSNL JTO exam....
only graduates and final year engineering students can apply for that.

1) the age must be within 21 years and 30 years....
age relaxation is there for OBC and SC/ST candidate.

2)the candidate must have a engineering degree in civil, electrical, electronics, telecommunication, radio, computers, information technology....
final year's students can also apply....................

Any notification about the BSNL JTO exam is not declared.
it will be announced in the month of February soon.

yes you can apply if you get your degree by the end of the date decided by the management.....

The syllabus will be different for three streams....electrical, civil and telecom.
you should have a good knowledge of all engineering subjects.
the question will be of multiple question type......

Notification of BSNL JTO exam 2011 yet has not came, but it will come soon or first week of march. so, check on the Bsnl website at the starting of the march.
