do we need 60% in pcm to be eligible for aieee in 2?

my tot is 56 can i expect a rank being an sc student in local nit colege

dear friend,
you will get the call for counselling if you score its cut off marks.it varies from year to year.generally it is around 125.so you have to score at lease 125 to make sure for AIEEE

there is no any such rules for this.means there is no any barrier to qualifying in the each paper.your marks will be count as a whole.
so do not worry.

i have got around 59000 rank in air in obc quota. will i get admissions in any top 10 nit

i got 48(general). how many marks qualify exam2010

SIR I GOT 87MARKS IN AIEEE 2010 AND MY STATE RANK IS AROUND 23000.CAN I EXPECT A SEAT IN 'NIT' ANY GROUP.MY STATE IS ANDHRAPRADESH.

for nit minimum mark needed is 50% that of total mark!!!!!!!!

in aieee, you don,t have to pass in each subject as they will only tell you the total marks. The minimum marks required to pass the exam is called cut off.
This year the cut off for general students is 55 marks
for OBC students it is 33 marks
and for sc/st students it is 20 marks out of 432 marks

there is no such requirement of crossing the cut off in each subject like iit
you need to have a good overall marks to get a good rank and for nit rank should be under 10000

the minimum marks that one should score in the aieee exam for the central counseling is 35%,but for getting the nits you should have to score atleast 65% marks in each subjects

here is the catagory wise marks to qualify the AIEEE exam,but remember one thing that it varies year to year so it can can not be accurately we just made the assumption..

For GENERal candidate the marks is 178 total aggregate out of 460......

For SC students it is 89 total aggregate out of 460.....

Fir the ST students it is 89 total aggregate out of 460..

For the OBC candidate it is 161 total aggregate out of 460...

For the Physically Handicaped students 89 total aggregate out of 460.

there have not any criteria, in Minimum marks required in each subject to qualify AIEEE exam.

to fulfill the criteria to attain in AIEEE exam 50% marks in 12th.

and 55% marks in PCM combination is essentially required.

The minimum marks criteria to appear in the AIEEE is that a student must secure

55% marks in +2 ,in aggregate.You can appear in the AIEEE exam three time.If you pass

your +2 exam in 2011 then you can appear in the year2011, 2012 and 2013.

Minimum marks for qualifying is not the same every year and no one can predict that.

Qualifying marks=sum of marks obtained by all students/total number of students.

It is calculated with each subject and decided.

eople in general needs 178 marks in 12th out of 480,
people in OBC needs 161 out of 480 marks and people in sc,st needs 89 marks out of 480 to qualify AIEEE exam

CAN I WRITE AIEEE 2011 SINCE I HAVE GOT 50% IN PCM AND 40 IN MATHS

I have got 50%in PCM & 40% in maths can i write aieee,gujcet ,or for narsee monjee

IF I GET 170 MARKS IN AIEEE IN OBC KOTA CAN I GET AIEEE COLLEGE....

The cut off usually changes from year to year because the candidates appearing may keep increasing.It even depends upon the result.Because of the reservation,the councelling process will also change.

If you score above 145 then your rank will lie between 40,000-50,000.
If you score above 175 then your rank will lie between 20,000-30,000.
If you score between 195-250 your rank may lie between 5000-20,000.

But it even depends upon the category your from.If your from GEN category then you need to perform exceptionally well.

35%-40% is a secure marks for AIEEE,If you get 50% then you get a very good rank...
Try to get marks as much as possible it will help you at the time of counciling...

cut off marks are not fixed it depends upon total number of candidates and complexity of papers of aieee exam cut off varies every year so better to concentrate on your studies instead of cut off marks by the way the cut off that often observed is nearly 175 marks in all subject.

Actually we cannot specifically tell what is the minimum mark reqiured , as it usually changes based on the number of students whose cleared the entrance exam & the entire performance for that year . Actually the basic requirement is a pass mark in Xll (sometimes specifically 50% for Physics , Chemistry & Biology is demanded) . Thus , with a PASS and 50% for PCM what really matters is your performance in the AIEEE Entrance Exam....

Hi,

You can get a rank around 3-4 lacs and depending upon your quota you may get call for the counseling.

You need to score at least 40% to get call from a good NIT. if you score above 60 in AIEEE you are merely clear to get eligible for counseling, but a score of around 100-130 may get you a good NIT.

You are eligible as the criteria is for 12th pass with 50% for General, not for PCM or maths percentage individually.
