NPCIL is one of the best exam in India.
The duration of the entrance exam is 120 minutes and will of 100 marks.The question paper is objective type.The question paper consists of mainly two parts-
1.Management and General Aptitude Test based on English Language,Quantitative Aptitude,Logical Reasoning,Data Interpretation and Analytical Ability.This section consists of 50 marks.
2.Functional knowledge Test based on the relevant professional qualification of the candidate.This section also consist of 50 marks.

BE/B.Tech /B.Sc engineering (4years) with a min of 60% marks aggregate mat=rks in any of the engineering discipline

Age limit :
general 26 years ( as 1st july 2012)
obc 29 years
sc/st 31 years



NPCIL notification 2012 :

duration of the written test : 2 hours and 10marks

the written test consists of two parts

NPCIL entrance exam

You need to attend the written test. If you pass the written test, you will be called for Interview.

You need to prepare all engineering concepts related to your discipline. The examination will contain more number of technical questions and few aptitude questions. Questions will be objective type only. Negative marking are allotted for wrong answers as well. So, you need to put more hard work to crack this examination.

It is more or less preparing for GATE examination.
