sir/madam when will you conducting M.Tech counselling through GATE 2012

sir i got 24.7 marks obc as mim.marks for obc is 22 and for gen.it is 25..but i came to know that i dose not come under obc so is there any chance to get seats or attend counselling plz...send me details.....

GATE stands for Graduation Aptitude Test in Engineering.



DATES FOR GATE 2013



-it is conducted every year for taking admission in M.TECH.

- you can apply in final year.

- GATE score only valid for 1 year.

- There is no limit in how many years to complete engineering.

- there is no cut off in percentage to apply for the gate exam

- there is no age limit for applying for gate exam .

- Though gate exam you get admission in IIT AND NIT COLLEGES AND SEVERAL OTHER COLLEGES .

- to take admission in IIT OR NIT COLLEGES you need to score above 99 percentile .

- to clear gate exam you should have good knowledge of your subjects .

- join a gate forum for good preparation .

From 2012 pre-final year student can not apply for the GATE EXAM ,only final year student can apply for it.

i am a obc creamy layer candidate. But i have submitted OBC NC as category during registration process...will there be any problem in the future during admission time.

NOTE:


(1) The vacant seats in PG courses, if any, after admitting GATE/GPAT qualified candidates will be filled with the candidates based on the Rank secured in the PGECET-2012 Entrance test.


(2) Separate notification will be issued shortly for admission to PG courses in Engineering for
GATE/GPAT Qualified candidates. However, such candidates may also appear for PGECET in case they wish to seek admission in other interested specializations.


(3) GPAT qualified candidates are eligible for admission into M. Pharmacy courses only.


(4) PGECET qualified candidates only are eligible for admission into Graduate level Pharm-D (PB) course.


(5) As per the latest AICTE approval process Hand Book 2011-2012 eligibility criterion for admission to Engineering and Pharmacy courses is 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). However candidates shall fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in the relevant GOs at the time of admission.
